how do we stay present in a world that keeps us moving so fast?

hi

I’m Salber—a Zimbabwean-Portuguese actor, poet, and creative based in Berlin. My work moves across performance, film, coaching, and storytelling, and it all circles back to the above question.

As an actor, my path has taken me from Shakespearean stages to contemporary art spaces and international film festivals. Most recently, I starred in Brick, a Netflix feature film directed by Philip Koch. My artistic practice continues to explore voice, body, and emotion as tools for connection and reflection. Both on screen and in real life.

That same curiosity led to the creation of This Is Joy Bro—a growing movement and community centered on joy, mindfulness, and the act of noticing. What began with Ride With Salber, merging my poetry with cycling through Berlin, has evolved into a wider exploration of how we move through the world, together.

Alongside my creative work, I also offer coaching rooted in voice, embodiment, and presence. Drawing on my training as an actor, I support individuals and teams in reconnecting with their bodies, their breath, and the clarity of their own expression. It’s practical work with artistic roots. An approach that helps people communicate, lead, and show up with more ease, honesty, and resonance.

Across all of it, my intention is the same:

To explore what it means to be fully human.

To notice what’s already here.

And to find joy. In motion, in stillness, in connection.
